Features

Most of the time spent on captions goes into fixing them. Napivio focuses on what happens before captions reach your timeline.

Pick the dialogue, skip music and effects. Select several tracks at once, such as the host and the guest.

What it’s for

Words find their place.

Well-timed, readable captions.

Every conversation has a rhythm. Captions should follow it. Choose the dialogue, shape the text and stay with your edit.

How it works

Three steps inside a Premiere Pro panel, with no audio export and no switching to a browser.

  1. Choose your audio

Select the dialogue tracks, for example A1 and A3. Music and effects stay out of the transcript.

  2. Set up and review captions

Set line length and line count. Fix text and timing in the preview before anything touches your sequence.

  3. Add to your sequence

Captions land on a captions track as editable items. From there you work with Premiere’s own tools: style, position, export.

Comparison

Premiere Pro has capable built-in captions and Napivio doesn’t replace them. It prepares Polish captions before they go into your sequence. The Napivio column describes target product features.

Other tools worth knowing

Stenograf and Beey are standalone transcript editors. AutoCut and FireCut are broad editing automation suites. SubMachine offers MOGRT templates built on Adobe’s transcription. Submagic, Captions and VEED run as a separate web or app workflow. Pick what fits the way you work.

How limits work

  • Limits reset every month, on yearly plans too. Unused minutes don’t roll over.
  • Translation is counted as footage length × number of target languages. 10 minutes into 2 languages is 20 minutes.
  • No automatic overage charges. When you hit a limit, you decide whether to buy a pack.
  • Prices exclude VAT. Tax and the final amount are shown before payment.

Frequently asked questions

Premiere already has captions. Why another plugin?

Premiere’s built-in captions work well in supported languages, but Polish is not on the public Speech to Text language list (as of 3 October 2026). Napivio adds Polish transcription, selecting several tracks at once, line breaks based on pauses and punctuation, and a preview before inserting. Styling, positioning and exporting captions stay in Premiere.

What about speech recognition errors?

They happen, especially with proper names, overlapping voices and loud music. That’s why captions go through a preview before insertion, and a client dictionary helps keep names spelled right. No speech recognition is 100% accurate, and we don’t promise that it is.

Does my footage go to the cloud?

Yes. Audio from the selected tracks is sent for transcription and translation, not your whole project. Processing is done by third-party speech recognition and translation providers. Napivio doesn’t work offline. The privacy policy covers the details, including how long data is kept.

What happens when I hit my limit?

A new transcription won’t start, and the panel shows how many minutes are left. You can buy a 100-minute pack or wait for the monthly reset. Nothing is charged automatically.

How do I cancel?

In your account settings, at any time. Your plan runs until the end of the paid period, monthly or yearly, and doesn’t renew.

Captions vs. animated subtitles: what’s the difference?

Captions are text on a captions track: you edit, style and export them with Premiere’s tools, including as a separate file for platforms. Word-by-word animated subtitles, common in shorts, are graphics such as MOGRT templates. Napivio prepares captions, not animated graphics.

Which Premiere Pro versions does Napivio support?

We’ll confirm the minimum Premiere Pro version and supported systems during testing, and publish them under Versions and compatibility before launch.
